**Join Us for Gold Star Family Day at the Georgia Aquarium!**

Date: September 27, 2026  

Check-in: 8:45-9:45 (light breakfast is provided)
Ceremony: 9:45 AM 
Location: Georgia Aquarium - Oceans Ballroom- park in the parking deck and follow signs to the OCEANS BALLROOM ENTRANCE, where you will go through security. Do not bring any items that would not pass the security checkpoint.

We invite all Gold Star Families to join us for a special day of remembrance and aquarium adventures at the Georgia Aquarium. The event starts at 9:45 AM with a light breakfast and a ceremony.

​

The Georgia Aquarium is offering limited animal encounters at the time of sign-in on Sunday from 8:45-9:45.  These are very limited and are on a FIRST COME/FIRST SERVED BASIS. Not all Families and Family members will be able to register for the encounters and are truly ONLY ON A FIRST COME BASIS.

​

Following the ceremony, guests will have the opportunity to start their day with exciting animal encounters and tours of the aquarium, aquarium shows, and a day an all-inclusive day at the Georgia Aquarium, including admission, parking, breakfast and lunch, Behind the Scenes Tours, and much more.

**Lunch:**  
Lunch will be provided by the Georgia Aquarium Military Salute Program.
